Dispatch and delivery times
| Goods | Dispatch | Courier | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Blades | Dispatched the same working day or in up to 3 working days | 1 working day | Cut from coil and welded to your length. The date for your blade and length is shown in your basket before you pay. |
| Cutting fluids | Dispatched the same working day | 1 working day | Supplied in containers and dispatched as they are. |
Carriage
Blades are sent with no carriage charge. Cutting fluids carry carriage, charged per order and worked out from the number of containers in it.
| Goods | Carriage |
|---|---|
| Blades | Free |
| Cutting fluids, one container | £13.75 ex VAT£16.50 inc VAT |
The exact carriage for your basket is shown before you pay. It is added once per order and depends on the number of containers in it.
Blades are made to order, so the making time comes before dispatch. The courier times count from the day your blade is dispatched, not the day you order.
The expected delivery date in your basket is worked out from these times, and your order confirmation repeats it.
Signed-in customers can follow an order in their account, which shows its status and a tracking reference when one is recorded.

How a blade travels
A welded loop folds into a compact coil, so even a long band travels as a sensible parcel. Blades are coiled and packed in a carton for the courier.
Unpacking one is the reverse: cut the packaging band carefully, let the coil open away from you and check the weld and tooth line before the blade goes near the machine. If anything arrives damaged, the returns and refunds page explains what happens next, and the contact page is the place to start.
