Ordering

How ordering works

Five steps between choosing a blade and the courier handing it over. You choose the blade and enter the length, and the rest follows.

From browse to dispatch

The same five steps whether you order one blade for a benchtop saw or a batch for a production line.

  1. Browse

Start in the shop, or let the blade wizard narrow the range by machine and material. Every blade carries the specification its manufacturer publishes.

  2. Configure

On the product page, pick the width and tooth pitch and enter your machine's loop length in millimetres. The price updates as you type.

  3. Pay

Checkout takes cards through Stripe. Your card details are entered on Stripe's payment page and never touch our servers, and the total you pay is the total your basket showed.

  4. Made to order

Your blade is cut from the coil and welded into a continuous loop at the length you entered.

  5. Dispatch

Your blade is packed and sent by courier. Dispatch times, the order cut-off and carriage are on the delivery page.

What happens after you pay

When your payment clears, your order is sent for making and you receive a confirmation email with the expected delivery date. The blade is cut, welded and dispatched. The full process is described on the custom lengths page, and the delivery page has the dispatch and courier times.

Ordering questions, answered straight

The questions we hear most before a first order.

Do I need an account to order?

No. You can check out as a guest. An account keeps your delivery addresses and your order history in one place, which helps if you buy more than once.

How long does an order take to arrive?

Every blade is made to order, so the dispatch time comes before the courier leg. The delivery page gives the dispatch and courier times, and your basket shows an expected delivery date before you pay.

What if I do not know my blade length?

Check your machine's specification plate or manual first, or measure an old blade. The custom lengths page walks through both methods, and the contact page is there if you are still stuck.

Can I return a blade I ordered in the wrong length?

Blades are cut and welded to the length you enter, so they cannot be returned for a change of mind. Check the length before you order. A blade that is faulty or not what you ordered is put right: the returns and refunds page explains how.
